You want the Environmental Services Association http://www.esauk.org/directory/index.asp

Select services 'PCB collection/disposal' hit go and choose from 33 possible suppliers.

Hope the weather in Birmingham is better than here!

According to http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/msa19.htm#9

'You can get advice on how to dispose of very small amounts of PCBs (such as a few capacitors from fluorescent lights) from your Waste Regulation Authority.'

Regards

Peter

The holding and disposal of PCBs is covered by specific legislation.

If you look at the SI below you will find that any holder of PCBs, with a few exceptions, should have registered them with the EA and identified a disposal route.

When you contact the EA they may well query why your employer has not done this.

SI 2000 No. 1043 The Environmental Protection (Disposal of Polychlorinated Biphenyls and other Dangerous Substances) (England and Wales) Regulations 2000
