Hi,
I'm looking to source a confined spaces course provider in south wales (must have practical training in use of escape sets and winches, etc.) any ideas?

Give this company a call "Southern Safety Ltd".
Tel: 01329 828258.
They specialise in confined space entry, rescue training as well as use of BA equipment etc.
They frequently travel through out the UK to client sites.
Worth a call at least.

You could try Lifting Gear in Port Talbot on 01639 890875. They don't provide training by the do supply all the gear for Entry into Confined Spaces. I'm sure if you pick their brains they will be able to put you in touch with someone local who can provide the course. Failing that, there is a company operating out of Cardiff called MLJ Ltd 02920 529 959, now they got a guy called Neil Leisham working for them who used to work for the Fire Service so he knows what he is talking about when it comes to Confined Spaces, they will have no problem providing the course for you.
