Posted By stuart cross I work in the health care sector and have been asked to find out about the above document.
The above document is about the storage of medical gas bottles..I've tried all th obvious internet sites and drawn a blank.
I have all of the HSE guidance on medical gases but this one (I think from Department of health) defies me!
Does anyone know where I can get a copy or is it defunct?

Posted By Bill Elliott Stuart - I think you will find that this is now old hat. The 2/87 relates to the date of issue and is therefore Feb 1987. There is much more up to date guidance around now. I can find no references to it on NHS Estates K&IP (Knowledge and Information Portal) nor on DH publications.

Posted By peter gotch Stuart,
Here's a starting point....
NHS Estates have published.
Health Technical Memorandum 2022 "Medical Gas Pipeline Systems - Operational Management" 1997
HTM 2022 Supplement 1 "Dental Compressed Air and Vacuum Systems" 2nd edition 2003.
If by any chance you subscribe to TI OHSIS you will find both there. I can't download and send you them for reasons of copyright.
Good luck, Peter
