Colleagues, I have taken on a voluntary role as safety officer for my local (CIU) Social Club.

I would appreciate guidance / sharing of experience on the aspects of risk involved with working practice, public safety (hygiene), toilet facilities and access and egress to entertainments venues, especially the activities conducted within a concert room.

My primary concern would be the activities conducted in / behind the bars and work undertaken in the cellar with the manual handling of deliveries. A sharing of experience with regard to the pitfalls to look out for would be most welcome.
