Hi all,

Does anyone Know where I could get hold of a standardised inspection checklist (if there is such a thing) for the guards and protection devices for power presses.

I am aware that not all Presses are the same and the level and type of guarding will differ, I only want to see how they are laid out so we could write our own checklist.

Also, does anyone know of any good Training Providers who could train one or more of our staff to the level of competency needed to undertake these type of checks?

Thanks, Mick.

RoSPA used to undertake Power Press training, including train the trainer which is often a cost effective way to do it. They may also be able to assist with inspection check sheets.
