Hi all.

At our company we have car parking facilities for our employees. Recently there was an accident where two employees arriving for work crashed into each other (neither employee was hurt, but there was bent metal). One of the employees was driving without Tax, MOT and insurance.

Any suggested methods or experiences of controlling this?

This is only to do with personnel commuting to work and not people using their cars for work purposes.

Thanks,
Alex

Threaten to report anyone found without any of the above to the police.

As the accident took place on their 'place of work' advise them that they are in contravention of section 7(a) of HASAWA as they have failed to take reasonable care of the other person by the 'ommission' of protecting them by having adequate insurance, point out that they have put the Company at risk and could be liable for disciplinary action - then report them to the police.
