Posted By Peter MacDonald I'm looking to upgrade our RPE for our ground burners. At the moment we use a Sundstrom SR100 half mask with Pre, particulate, and gas filter to offer protection when cutting steel with oxy/propane burning guns. I'm particularly interested in protection form lead poisoning (among others) as the lead/blood levels are showing an increase in this group of workers. I realise that RPE is the last form of protection and we mechanically cut where we can but these sections are too big. They must be cut by torch. We also have issues of smoking and non use of RPE but that's another story. Everbody's face fit tested as well. Anyone out there with some info or bright ideas. Peter
