Hi all, Happy New Year,
Doe's anyone have information on short training courses for non-union safety reps. I have details of the IOSH and TUC courses but am looking for a shorter cheaper option to satisfy my management team. The Reps concerned are all new to H&S and have had no training at all. Thanks for taking time to read this

My company has just had 12 Safety Reps go through course run by RoSPA "Understanding the Role of Health & Safety Representatives"
All came back very complimentary as to how good the course was and how enjoyable it was and very enthusiastic to become more envolved as Safety Reps.
Course Length was 2 days hosted at your own workplace.

I used CHSS to train the 5 Non-union Safety Reps on my site. I sat in on the course myself and found it to be a good course with a good quality trainer. You can also work with them to tailor the course to suit your safety management systems.
