Posted By david baird Dear all, I have my own views on where accountability should lie, but would appreciate others views, if possible. I work for a quango / agency type body which is effectively run by board / committee type structures which are elected / appointed. The board members have day jobs doing other things and their participation in our functioning is not their main vocation. Our organisation has a "traditional" corporate management team consisting of full time directors and full time CEO, etc. These boards in effect oversee the running of the quango, primarily at a strategic level. Perhaps akin to an NHS Trust or LA type organisation? There are various bits of the HSW Act which may or may not apply. S36,37 do spring to mind. Has anybody heard of board members or similar posts being subject to proceedings? All help / experiences appreciated. Many thanks, David
