Funnily enough Neil, I did a search of the discussion forum this morning on the very subject.

And when they succeed, you will then have the programs about how their mobiles cost a lot but don't work.
Note that all the research also says that people are exposed to very many times more "radiation" from their handsets than from masts, but chose to ignore that.
locally, I also hear about a woman who has complained to one of the network providers about heacaches she has had, since a mobile mast (disguised as a lampost) was installed outside her house. Only to be told that it has never been operational and was put there to guage local opinion....

John,

Totaly agree with your statement.

I saw a magazine article the other day advising consumers not to but new G3 handsets until coverage was increased. How do they increase coverage? More masts!

A case of having your cake and eating it in my opinion.
