Posted By Paul L Williams Hi, I have been asked for advice on gas shrinkwrap hand held torches for bag sealing palletised items. I am waiting a response from our insurers and should imagine they will say that the activity needs to be undertaken in a sprinker protected part of the site away from other combustable items. Adequate PPE and training, safe storage for gas cyilinders and a fire extinguisher point. Other than this points does anyone have any experience of gas torches and the safety precautions required for using them. Thanks in advance for your help Paul Williams
