We use manufacturer's information and other sources - then calculate how long the tool can be used before an individuals exposure has exceeded daily dose. Vibration Solutions by the HSE - contains a nomogram that can then be used to caclulate the time before a persons' daily exposure eill be exceeded. If your employees use various pieces of kit during the day you may have to get a matrix done.
