What are your golden rules of safety..
Mine are:
1.Accident prevention and safe working enviroments promotes good business relations.
2.Effective communication must be applied at all levels to elimate mistaken actions.
3.On and off the job training is a crucial part of employee and company growth
4.All hazards must be immedialetly identifyied then reported and eliminated.
5.Safety is a condition of employment.
Please place yours in as I am just curious what you see fit as a golden rule in employment.

Never prohibit anything in the name of health and safety - instead always set out what needs to be done and what precautions are required to enable the activity to be undertaken safely.

Nothing is so urgent or so important that we cannot take time to do it safely.

Glynn,
with regards to your rule:
"All hazards must be immedialetly identifyied then reported and eliminated"
How on earth can you eliminate all hazards? If you know how please tell the rest of us. I think you need to review this one, try:
All forseable hazards must be identified and risk assessed with all reasonable control measures implemented.
