Posted By Ian Hi All, I have seen a number of questions around fire risk assesments and Im in the same boat. I run a care home for the elderly and and have been asked to complete a fire risk assesment. I have all the information I need but am confused as to what form the ultimate report should take. Does anyone out there have a completed fire risk assesment report I can see as an example (even better if its from a care home!!) that I can look at. I appreciate your time on this and look forward to hopefully some replies! Many Thanks, Ian

Posted By Joe Ian, You may get a beeter response to this on the Chat Forum. I am currently negotiating an assessment pro forma for our establishments which will comply with the requirements of SHTM 84 (I'm in Scotland!) and our local Fire Authority Safety Team/ Care Commission. If you e-mail me with a fax number I will send a copy to you. I would suggest that anything you intend to use must be in agreement with your Fire Authority as I have found their requirements vary incredibly from area to area. Cheers Joe
