Posted By Ian Stone Our science deprtment has apllied for licence to hold certain drugs for testing on science courses here at the College. Trying to find info to complete a risk assessment for keeping various substances on site. Can anyone help?? Thanks Ian

Posted By Robin B Hi Ian Your Risk assessment would depend upon what drugs are intended to be used. Security looms pretty large here if you are thinking about Class A's/B's. The Home Office has some very strict guidelines on security, access and disposal. The police may also therefore, require to be consulted as would your insurers etc. However if you mean testing on animals, thats another ball game and you'd require advice from special branch. Robin
