Posted By Rachel West Does any one have any experience with PPE for fibre optic sharps? I'm considering disposable nitrile gloves as used in hospitals for puncture resistance. However, disposable gloves don't seem to have puncture resistance ratings and I'm not sure if they will actually lend any protection to the user. Anyone's opinions or knowledge on this one would be appreciated.

Posted By Paul Swift Hi Rachel Under what circumstances are you/your employees coming into contact with the shards of fibre? There are a number of ways this can be eliminated depending on your operational needs. Please feel free to email me direct - I am responsible for health and safety for a fibre optic manufacturers, so can probably give you advice as to what equipment is available. Kind Regards Paul
