Posted By Nigel Thomas All - Your opinions please I'm in middle of a risk assessment, the staff prefer to use a ramps and hand cart to deliver boxes into a stock room, so what do you consider the safest option carry up two steps and then down two steps or use portable rams that are attached secretly???

Posted By Barry Cooper Personally I'd go for ramps. Recently we have had several accidents on steps and stairs. Just make sure the ramp surface is slip resistant in the event it gets wet.
