Posted By Martyn Hendrie Ron, I fear that your request is virtually impossible to answer. Before you can come up with an action plan you first have to analyse the problem (where the company is now) and where the company wants to be (the areas where a plan of action is needed) This is going to be a unique plan to your organisation. As a strategy for action you could look at HSG 65 (Successful Management of H&S) or OHSAS 18001. The normal areas to consider are Competence - of employees and management Co-ordination - of the safety effort Co-operation - between workforce and management Communication - of safety to all levels Control - of safety throughout the company's activities Enough "buzz" words for one response, hope this helps Martyn

Posted By Paul L Williams Ron, I agree with Martyn that before you can come up with an action plan you first have to analyse the problems. To help you do this I have emailed you directly with a comprehensive inspection audit that will identfiy weaknesses in the management of health and safety and general hazards in and around an industrial setting. The findings from the inspection can then be used to create your action plan. Hope this helps Regards Paul
