Before you can come up with an action plan you first have to analyse the problem (where the company is now) and where the company wants to be (the areas where a plan of action is needed) This is going to be a unique plan to your organisation. As a strategy for action you could look at HSG 65 (Successful Management of H&S) or OHSAS 18001. The normal areas to consider are Competence - of employees and management Co-ordination - of the safety effort Co-operation - between workforce and management Communication - of safety to all levels Control - of safety throughout the company's activities Enough "buzz" words for one response, hope this helps Martyn
