Posted By Karen L Duggan An appeal to the helpful! While working I am also finishing my final year at University, conducting research into stress among H&S professionals. I now (rather urgently) need input from the professional community. I am looking at the topic from the perspective of the burden of moral responsibility (as placed upon us by society and its expectations) and then seeking to establish whether society subsequently provides us with some social support mechanisms which can be used as part of a coping strategy. If anyone is willing to send their comments, please EMAIL your agreement DIRECT on karen.duggan@btinternet.com. Upon receiving this, I will then email (brief!) documents directly to you within appx 12 hours (please provide your email address). Full details of confidentiality, purpose of the research and my own credentials will be sent to you also. I very much hope that many of you will participate. Stress is a hot topic but not much data seems to be available in relation to our profession. Thank you very much for any insight you can provide
