Posted By Peter MacDonald I'm looking for a control regime for the operation of mobile crushing plant (extec type) where two operatives are aboard the machine during operation (one operating and removing unsuitable material and one only removing suitable material). We already have task rotation, anti-vibration mats, and time constraints but looking for best practice. Any experts out there? Pete

Posted By Pete Moran Peter, as you may know the new Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005 are coming out in July(?)......with this in mind the Off-highway Plant and Equipment Research Centre (OPERC) have just released a 'Guide to Whole Body Vibration'. This has been written with help from the HSE and is available from OPERC at Loughborough University on 01509 222884. OPERCs web site is www.operc.com
