Posted By Adam These type of positions always ask for experience in the area concerned as they command high rates of pay, and there are not that many specialist available with qualifications and matched experience, if you want to get a foot in the door look for a safety engineer position and stay with a company for a couple of years to get the necessary experience. you will need a thorough understanding of LUL contract QUENSH and Network Rail contract safety standards aswell as all the other standards that apply to railways, thats why the positions pay well.
