Posted By Simon Ayee Does anyone have any examples of practical solutions to reduce noise levels during kerbside recycling collections or similar operations with vehicle collections. I have looked at the examples in HSE's Sound Solutions. The particular problem is impact noise from glass being sorted into the side bins of the vehicle and also then being mechanically dumped into the bulk compartment of the vehicle. The application of wear resistant rubber matting to the various surfaces of the sorting compartments is being considered but examples of successful solutions would be gratefully received. Thanks Simon
