Posted By Terry Reading Hi. Does anyone know of a website or other relatively simple way of finding out about the differences in fire safety signs and fire extinguishers colours and codes for different Countries around the world? I have been asked to lead a project aimed at devising an in-house information site on fire safety for my Company and we operate in 66 Countries. I am well versed in the European and USA standards, but rather than trying to ring around the rest of the world and overcome the language barriers, I wondered if anyone else had come up against this or already had some information for as many countries as possible. Even if anyone knows which other Countries use the same as the European standards and which ones the same as the US standards would be a start. Thanks in advance. Terry

Posted By Frank Hallett Hi Terry You will probably find that the "rest of the world" will either have adopted or be familiar with, the EU Us & Canadian signs and their meanings. Personally, I woulkd use this as an opportunity to simplify signage, especially where the site[s] are in countries that have a more relaxed approach! Good Luck Frank Hallett
