Posted By chrissie Could anyone help me. We use treatment plinths to change our members or perform physiotherapy. Our members are disabled individuals with complex needs. The plinths are electrially PAT tested and have maximum load information clearly visible on them. They can be adjusted up and down Is it a requirement that they are checked and maintained every six months alongside our hoists?

Posted By Paul Leadbetter Chrissie From your description, the plinths sound like lifting equipment used for lifting people and, therefore, would require 6-monthly examination under LOLER. Paul
