Posted By Jez Corfield I am sure the course will be good and have lots of interesting stuff in, but lets be honest, in most circumstances fire risk assessment is not rocket science. The intention of the ODPM is clear - that the responsible person with formal training or experience should be able to carry out FRA in less complex environments. In more complex environments then yes, do something like this, but for most qualified H&S people if they felt a bit rusty, then some short course or other professional development related to your particular type of building would surely suffice.
