Posted By Ruth Maclean Hi I have been asked to do the above by the local authority and have found some information to help devise a checklist for the inspections. Any help would be greatfully appreicated to ensure i am on the right lines and cover the essential criteria for the inspections. Many thanks

Posted By Chris Pope Ruth You can get the correct British Standard for school workshops from DATA - can't remember what it stands for. Cleapps (see a previous school thread) produce a model science safety policy which is useful, and you should look at their bulletins for technicians which are brilliant. Another useful by produced by ASE is Topics in Safety.
