I have just started the NVQ level 4 and am trying to do element 403.1. I am stuck on the first line, to assess the structure! does anyone know what it is asking as we have a very small structure and there is not a lot to assess!
Any ideas gratefully recieved.

All you need for the first PC in this unit is a management structure chart for your organisation, showing the line management for health and safety.
I notice that you're email address is for a council, so your structure may be bigger than you think, as it'll go back to the Chief Executive of the Council.

I have just recently passed NVQ 4 and I just produced the company organisation chart along with a 2 page report to the Board describing the structure along with the company processes i.e. fabrication and welding. This went on to reveiw the inputs to and outputs from these processes and then a matrix depicting all relevant H. & S. legislation to the business and whether it is linked to an input, process or output with a tick in the box.
