Posted By John E Ridd These are extensively used in manual lifting studies and for the kinematics of gait - any University with a Biomenchanics department should be able to give you a long list of papers on the design, use and application of such devices. I used to use one - but that was 25 years ago and I couldn't even find the papers now, even if they were still relevant.
