Posted By Heather Aston Steve The HSE guidance to the DSE Regs indicates that this type of device in use for data entry and manipulation (rather than just as a phone) should be considered as DSE and assessed exactly the same as any other type of DSE. Heather

Posted By John E Ridd I have recently been asked a similar question by a client. After much searching through the web and discussions with contacts, it was clear that there is not much out there as yet. However, I did find some related information from the British Chiropractic Association and from Virgin Mobile. As a result I have compiled a short report that deals with the ergonomics issues; if you would like a copy of this please email me direct. The article is already on the web but only available in the 'Members Area' of the "Office Health & Safety Group" - so if you're a member of that group it's already there for you.
