Posted By Nigel Souster Hi all, I'm the factory manager of a printers, and the upper management has decided to give me the role of managing all health and safety issues. I start the General Cert' in July. What I'm after as a novice is a one stop information point to get me going in the right direction when all the problems come flooding in. Is Tolley's Health and Safety at Work Handbook the best source for this information or is there something more informative? I know the 'web' will probably give me a greater scope of info', but as I said before, I'm after a single source to cut down on surfing time. Thanks in anticipation, Nigel

Posted By Paul Craythorne Nigel, Other sources include Croner's Health and Safety Management and Jordan's Health and Safety Management. They are both loose leaf services with regular updates and a CD ROM option. Regards, Paul Craythorne

Posted By Kevin West Nigel, I have contacted you directly. However, depending on the number of queries you may have, there is a free facility you may use on: www.whatrisk.com The facility is under the "ask dennis" button and is an ask the expert advice line for all risk disciplines including health and safety and environment. The service is a free trial / sample of the Responseline service offered by National Britannia. Feel free to contact me for more information. kevin_west@natbrit.com
