We require to carry out a Risk Ranking Process on the chemicals used on site to use as a priority setting tool for assessments. Does anyone know where I can find something that considers such factors as carcinogens, PPE requirements, STEL's, MEL's etc that would score each chemical?

COSHH Essentials assigns substances to risk groups. Take a look at www.coshh-essentials.org.uk to see if it suits your needs.

Is it just me or is COSHH Essentials very much weighted towards solvent based products and to fire/explosion risks? Plugging some values and information in, a water miscible paint came out as very much higher risk than cement?
