Posted By Mark McFarlane Our IT Department no longer arranges regular cleaning of PCs. Although staff have access to screen wipes etc I am concerned that this is not enough especially given the state of some keyboards. Before I tackle IT regarding this I was interested to hear other views whether this would this be covered under regs i.e. Welfare or PUWER? Any thoughts would be most useful.

Posted By Robin B On this site the users clean their own PC's. Mainly because we feel it is their own responsibility and our IT support PERSON just does not have the time come cover 60+ PCs on a regular basis. In any case who decides if it has been properly cleaned? 1 person's clean is another's manky! Robin

Posted By Robert S Woods Please read The Hitch Hikers Guide to The Galaxy, especially the bit about the B Ark and the people it carries. I thought it was fiction but obviously not. Bob
