Colleagues - is there anyone out there with knowledge/experience in the provision of outdoor "play" equipment. I am particularly interested in the standards to be applied when the equipment is to be used for adults with disabilities. I have grave concerns that equipment that purports to be suitable, is manufactured to BS5665 - the "toy" standard, is being recommended to us by suppliers. I am currently working on the premise that "playground" equipment should be the minimum ie equipment manufactured etc to BS EN 1176. Any advice or comments would be helpful.
