Posted By Terry Smyth Lee You should have had this ascertained long before interview! As you could be wasting time? I'm not sure of the grade that you are advertising for? However, If it is a junior grade, you may be pleasantly surprised! Some candidates may be over enthuasiastic, however, this with motivation, may have a positive effect! I would nevertheless check all implied credentials, as from my own experience, have found that applicants have actually been on all types of courses, but never completed them! This business is becoming more competitive now, for newly qualified practitioners, and the calibre is steadily increasing! Give this person an interview, and if he/she does'nt come up to standard, refer him/her to IOSH for some direction and guidance. Hope my opinion is of help. Regards Terry
