Posted By Simon Carrier Good day We are being instructed by our customer to refurbish some "ISO" containers. Tart them up change some bits and pieces. What we need to do is also check the base and refurbish it as necessary. To do this we need to lift it about 6ft to enable people to get underneath. We are considering placing it on dunnage blocks, railway sleepers. Does any one have any experience in this type of work or any other suggestions for raising them up. They weigh about 8T each. Thanks

Posted By John Webster The only time I was ever involved in work on the base of a container, it was tipped onto its side. Much easier to scrape paint & rust and to do any weld repairs & repaint etc.
