Posted By Joen Hi, i was requested by a safety officer for the Risk Assessment of Slope Work. That is a muddy slope and is partly soft but not very serious. and there will have scaffolding work above the slope. I cant get any information of this assessment in the net, books. Anyone know how to prepare it?? THANK :)

Posted By Ciaran McAleenan Yes Joen Ask yourself; What could cause harm during this operation? (Discuss with colleagues and agree a sensible list of sources of harm - i.e. hazards) Then with your colleagues consider; What can you do to prevent the harm being realised? (There you will have your control measures) You will find that in breaking it down like this you will identify a number of hazards that are perhaps more familiar to you and the control solutions more obvious. Take it one step at a time. It is easy. Finally when you have identified the sources of harm and the appropriate control measures consider whether you are doing enough to ensure a continuing safe and healthful workplace. Good luck Ciaran
