Many countries use electronic, sonic and such disabling devices
Anybody used such devices here in the UK - what was political kick back - users responses etc
When I worked in europe it was more easily solved but here we usually put dogs first!?

Hi Bob,
Never used such a device in work context, but many cyclists and walkers in the UK and Europe use Dog Dazer or some such, an ultrasonic shock device for dogs. Causes no lasting effects, the owners may not even know it has been used, and is usually effective,

There is a dog deterant spray on the market "biteback" used by the Royal Mail and all meter reading service companies.
It is made from homeopathic oils, and therefore non-harmful to both humans and dogs.
Let me know if you require any details of the company name who manufacture it.
