I have been asked to carry out some consultancy advice and i think it would be prudent to get some indemnity insurance.
Can anyone recommend someone along with the approx cost and level of cover that i need

You could try Bland Bankart on +44 116 254 6221 [Leicester]; they offer a [small] discount for IOSH members and have always done the business for me.
Alternatively, the Federation of Small Businesses also do a reasonably competetive PII although it's not really focussed on H&S Consultancy.

I've been given a hot tip that Norwich Union (www.norwichunion.co.uk) do a really good deal on Professional indemnity, I've been told it's around half the cost online of many others. Awaiting my quotation confirmation back. Will let you know
