Don't get me wrong here
I am not completely thick (almost but not completely).
How does one write a Methodology? What titles are included?
I have written SSOW, policies blah blah but never one of these.
Can someone please send me a example of one (does not have to be H&S but if H&S most definitely NOT Agents or chemical subjects please).
Google does not seem to help, it just confuses me more.
Regards
Jason (scratching his head)

Depends on what it is for.
If it is for an MSc thesis, it will be a whole chapter on research methods chosen, methods discounted, reasons for/against etc.
If it is for a NEBOSH assignment, management report etc. it will simply be how you went about it - e.g. interviews with key staff, reference to key documents/legislation, observation of activity etc. etc.
Hope this helps

Nick

Basically I should be able to pick up what you are doing a report on and be able to identify how the report evolved (Method in way it was achieved)
So if for instance you are writing a report on the issue and use of PPE the methodolgy should tell you
Identify what you are looking at, what relevant criteria you should know about i.e. compatibility, maintenance, BS Standards
where you get information from suppliers, manufacturers
Have you spoken to end user
Identify accident trends
Hope this helps

Thanks Both
Sometimes I just need the simple explanation to go further. You have both provided me with it.
Nick it is a Diploma style I doing, and was confused as to how space to dedicate to it as these are quite large in a thesis.
Once again
Thankyou
