Posted By garyh I am looking for a person or organisation able to measure HAV on our workers using our tools, possibly also assisting with the Risk Assesments. Can anyone make a reccomendation. And before anyone suggests "generic manufacturers data" - this might comply with the regs, however is not good enough for insurers.......................

Posted By Lumpy We use a company called Sypol for all our monitoring needs (HAVs, WBV, Noise, substances etc). And I have been impressed by their service. They provide a UK wide service. Have a look at their web site. www.sypol.com. Lumpy

Posted By Robert S Woods Why not get your company to send you on a course and buy the equipment? Might be cheaper in the long run and you'll have a useful qualification. Bob

Posted By Barry Cooper Garyh Try INVC They use a database of laboratory tests undertaken on over 2500 items of equipment. They require you to send them a list of the equipment and details and at a cost (less than doing it on site) will assess your equipment Barry

Posted By Sharon Hi we have just completed a two day course with INVC www.invc.co.uk and I can honestly say it was very good indeed. We do have our own piece of kit and the course also covered how to use the kit to its full advantange.
