Posted By el nino Robert We handle 100ltr IBC's ( square plastic in metal frame cages ). Full or mainly full via forklift or electric hand truck. Main pains: taps leak and top caps can work loose in transit so you have splash / slip hazard. No specific risk assessment but included in our risk assessment of loads handled by fork lifts. El Nino

Posted By Robert Paterson Thanks to everyone who replied either on the forum or direct. El Nino Are the contents of the IBC's used in a process which would mean it would be stationary or a period. If that is the case what do you do to prevent contact with forklift damage or even loss of product through possible bursting or damage. Would it be possible for you to send a copy of your risk assessment. Please send if possible to robert.paterson@jeyes.co.uk Many thanks again Regards Robert Paterson
