Morning
There are some discussions where I work with regards to frequency of electrical testing for office based equipment. Can anyone offer some advice as to a suitable timescale between tests?
Thanks
Jonathan

Suggest computers etc which don't move 5 yrs, office kettle 1yr. Vac cleaners seem to be the most aggressively used 1yror more frequently + trained person who gives them both the formal visual inspection

The HSE publish a guide containing suggestions for the testing/inspection of electrical equipment in low risk areas. It can be downloaded from: http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/indg236.pdf

The CoP issued by IEE tells you all you need to know.
Search this forum under PAT as I think I've placed details here before (do not have them to had at the moment).
