Posted By Bill Elliott Can anyone indicate what the salient points are that need to be considered for the location of a 2000 litre Autogas tank. I have already pointed out that the LPGA's CoP needs to followed, but there is a singular reluctance to fork out for the document "as its only going to get used once". Thanks in advance

Posted By Paul Leadbetter Bill Perhaps you should point out that the tank will only need to explode once for them to be in d-e-e-e-e-p trouble! Paul

Posted By TBC Have you seen this HSE leaflet? http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/chis4.pdf or this http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/indg387.pdf or this http://www.hse.gov.uk/lau/lacs/52-14.htm What is the price of the doc you need? Local authorities usually get them cheaper from the HSE publications than anyone else you know. Hope it helps.

Posted By Simon Carrier Bill You will need planning permission from the local authority prior to its insatllation. Also as it is a pressurised system periodic inspection will be needed however if it is insatlled by Auto gas, the equipment will still belong to them and they will carry out the required inspection and servicing. regards
