Posted By Stephen Boardman I do not work in a call centre nor have I done any work for one...... but, Hearing damage through use of headsets. Hygiene problems if there is multiple use of headsets. Stress. Verbal abuse and threatening behaviour Voice damage young workers New and expectant mothers Welfare facilities, cleanliness that is I imagine lot of people. air quality lighting competence of employees i.e managers, safety advisers, training, councelling. I am sure there is many more but I hope this is a good start for you. Regards Steve B

Posted By Bd Physical operating space, ventilation, lighting type & suitability including colour, heating / cooling, rest areas, cleaning, personal ill health, noise levels, ear and mouth piece hygiene, security, eyesight, clear routes, access, egress, evacuation, first aid pers, system for staff to report safety / welfare concerns, management stucture, fire detection system, personnel log in / out system-----there's bound to be more.

Everything covered by the 1992 Workplace Regs (heating, lighting, ventilation, cleaning, workstations and personal space standards, welfare facilities, floors, windows, doors, etc); Noise and accoustic shock; Fire; Electrical Safety, Stress, PUWER, First Aid, Manual Handling, Accident reporting & RIDDOR; Communication & Consultation issues; etc etc
