firstly, thanks to all the people who answered my last queries especially a Mr Temple, but there was a snag with your electronic booking in system.......if the building had to be evacuated.........how would you carry the p.c. out, to get an accurate head count?
In our depot we have razor wire around the perimiter fence and locations inside the yard which is close to the razorwire where some work is carried out, do i have to put signs up warning people/ workers about the razor wire?

The use of a printer should help.
A high speed one, needless to say.

Alternatively, use a laptop (tablet pc 'slate' style perhaps, then you can use it as a virtual check sheet too)

In other words (following on from above) carry out a risk assessment! Stating the bleeding obvious I know, but if you ask the question.......

Not knowing your site, you would have to have a pretty solid reason not to put up something as simple and relatively cost effective as warning signs, remember you still have responsibility (in our crazy world!) for persons even if they break in!

With regard to the comment about evacuations - I didn't see your earlier thread - but I have seem systems that automatically spit out a printed sheet (and have battery back up). But more simply, what is wrong with implementing a much simpler Fire Warden system where you can be sure the building is empty?
