Posted By Uday I have found out that reaching,over reaching,lifting,transporting of medicines to different wards,ergonomics,VDU are few of the risks in the pharmacy,If readers of this forum help me and advise me any other risks associated in the pharmacy in hospital environment, It would help me a lot. Thanks for all the help.

Posted By Ian Goddard There may be more than you might think. how about physical violence, from individuals intent on any drugs within the pharmacy. Also the risk of breathing in dusts from drugs when handled. regards Ian Goddard

Posted By Bill Elliott And the issues surrounding waste - particularly clinical type, cyto toxic and cyto static wastes. There may also be issues around the destruction of controlled drugs. There will almost certainly be issues around significant amount of glass containers, both bottles, jars but also phials etc.
