Information required with regards to risk assessment/method statement for loading/unloading of site cabins using a HIAB vehicle. Company just purchased a HIAB vehicle and with the Working at Height regs 05 we must comply to issue of using the slings etc to connect to the cabins and lift on to the back of the vehicle, and once arrived at their destination the unloading of the cabins. Most site cabins are stacked on top of each other.
Any advice will be much appreciated

I think you should consider a "safety" ladder, preferably footed, as the work platform and never allow anyone to stand in the middle of the cabin hooking or unhooking. The roofs are slippery when wet and lethal in icy conditions and the work gets done in icy conditions, occassionally miles from anywhere. The lorry loader can slew accross to each lifting eye, its not absolutely necessary to be on the roof.
