Posted By MC Hello All, Is it appropriate to use tough, robust guarding as a viewing window on a door leading from warehouse to offices. It's not a fire door. Would the 'normal' cross hatched glass window be more appropriate? Cheerio MC

Posted By Martin Taylor I would see no issue in using a guard mesh to allow visibility throught the door if this is required. Remember that vision panels are only legally required for doors that swing both ways. Personally I would think a glass panel would be beeter if the door is to offices to keep out the noise, dust and cold from the warehouse. Glass panels would eb required to be safety glass if below waist height but I would recoomend it anyway - again Georgian glass would need to be checked as it may not automatically be safety glass hope this helps Martin
