Accordingly, there are very strict procedures laid down with MAFF and EA or now DEFRA that cover the disposal of animal products as approvied by EU, HM Gov etc. There are various plants in UK that 'render' animal products that have been set up since the foot and mouth outbreak. Another option is incineration at approved incineration plants. Hope this helps
