I have recently taken up a new post in a firm where many of the employees undertake tasks with hand held power tools without any prior training or evidence of time served expereince. Can anyone please recommend any training courses or resources I can obtain in the subject area?

Please tell us the type of tools. Training and experience are not a panacea for employing competent staff. Training can be ignored and you can have 20 years of bad experience !

Thank you for your reply. The tools range from hammers and screw drivers to jigsaws, drills, angle grinders, glass cutters and circular saws etc. The people who have been using them are not employed as maintenace staff but have historically done their own work with these tools because the company is so small.
